While Daron is still missing from the podcast, Chris and Steve carry on as they bring you your weekly gaming news! A bit of a short one, but we were satisfied! The geeky duo discuss the future plans of TotalBiscuit, God of War record breaking sales, more controller support added to Steam, and more!
Welcome one and all to the final regular Utterly G33k of the year! Sadly Steven Petrella could not join us today, however Wally and Daron talk about story driven games, visual novels, and what happens when you re-watch the original Star Wars Trilogy once you’ve grown up. (As much as we’ve actually grown up). Oh, and also apparently cereal is an Amiibo now. So that’s the thing. 2017 has been weird.
This week the gang discusses at length the ins and outs of the Star Wars cinematic universe. We do get a bit into the games, but we’re pretty front loaded with Star Wars film discussion right out of the gate. We then get into the news of the week, including the new Overwatch story mode, Bayonetta’s PC release, Xbox now offering refunds, Kojima’s future plans for E3, a quick rundown of last week’s Nintendo Direct, and Nintendo’s NES Classic being discontinued.
It’s that time of week again! Time for Steve, Chris, and Daron to talk for about an hour about topics such as new graphics cards, new Star Wars games, Nintendo being a no-show at E3, and a very long discussion about campy movies… like a lot of movie discussion.
Come one, come all, to one of our final episodes of the year. In this thrilling tale we talk about our game deliberations and how those went. We also extol the virtues of a real damn Christmas Tree over those fake ones, an extensive history of Star Wars home video releases is discussed as well as Farming Simulator controllers. Questions are answered as well! Remember to send those in to email@example.com, we’ll answer them on a later episode! Thanks!
Hello again! In this episode Daron rants about Star Wars Bounty Hunter, and mostly Wally and Steve talk about Batman Arkham Knight. Jesus that game. I would like to take a moment to say I personally retract my statements in this podcast about ‘PC Elitism’. At the time I wasn’t fully sure what Warner Brother’s statements were, I saw and heard paraphrasing. While I believe ‘PC Elitism’ to be a thing, that’s an entirely different conversation to have. the Arkham Knight issue certainly isn’t one of PC Elitism. My Bad guys.
