Welcome to another wonderful week with the boys! This week we discuss at length, the benefits of a digital games collection over a physical and vice-versa. We also dig into Pyre, more time is spent with Splatoon, Wally’s frustrated with The Surge, and Steve plays Overcooked for the first time.
Relieved to see that the podcast hadn’t burned down, Daron returns to crack the whip and put Steve and Wally back to work. The gang discusses traveling in Europe, various movies and shows they’ve been watching as well as games currently being played. We’re light on the news right now because nothing is really happening int he games space this time of year, just wait, Gamescom is around the corner.
This week the gang discusses at length the ins and outs of the Star Wars cinematic universe. We do get a bit into the games, but we’re pretty front loaded with Star Wars film discussion right out of the gate. We then get into the news of the week, including the new Overwatch story mode, Bayonetta’s PC release, Xbox now offering refunds, Kojima’s future plans for E3, a quick rundown of last week’s Nintendo Direct, and Nintendo’s NES Classic being discontinued.
In this week’s episode we discuss EVERYTHING. Actually it’s a game called Everything, but it really does encompass everything in a way, but not really, I mean it’s a weird thing. We also do a bit of a deep dive on Mass Effect: Andromeda. In the news we discuss what happens when popular YouTube personalities expound on their political views without proper forethought to how it would affect them professionally.
